I have discovered that sharing in your passion and excitement while helping your project come to life is why I love what I do. Growing up in Matakana and the surrounding Rodney District has also provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the local area. 

My partner, Kirsten and I are entertained by our two lovely girls, so when I’m not building monkey bars and tree houses you will often find us out on the boat fishing and exploring our slice of paradise.

Together we have had the pleasure of building two of our own homes which has provided great insight, appreciation and respect for the overall building process, from early planning stages through to the finished product.  We experienced first-hand how important communication is and to allow time to make the important choices, particularly for those finishing touches that bring it all together. 

Complimenting many years in construction in New Zealand, I also spent 6 years living abroad, where I was Chief Engineer for Breezefree Ltd, the UK’s leading alfresco specialist supplying to large hospitality chains such as Carluccio’s, Pizza Express and TGI Friday.
I was responsible for large scale national contracts that rolled out with tight time lines, budgets and large teams to coordinate.

Since returning to Warkworth I’ve been involved with some exclusive projects such as the Matakana Cinemas, the Koru house and the 2017 Award winning Matakana House.
